Silent 88, the latest album by Hood, is a hauntingly beautiful collection of tracks that showcases the band's mastery of atmospheric soundscapes and emotive lyricism. From the opening notes of "The Negatives," the listener is transported to a world of introspection and reflection, where the weight of the past and the uncertainty of the future hang heavy in the air.

Throughout the album, Hood's signature blend of post-rock, shoegaze, and ambient music creates a dreamlike atmosphere that is both ethereal and grounded in reality. The instrumentation is sparse yet powerful, with delicate guitar lines and haunting vocal harmonies weaving together to create a sense of intimacy and vulnerability.
