Den Sorte Skole's latest album, III, is a masterpiece of musical fusion and experimentation. The Danish duo has once again pushed the boundaries of genre and created a unique sound that combines elements of hip-hop, electronic, and world music.

From the opening track, "Lektion III," the listener is transported to a sonic landscape that is both familiar and foreign. The use of samples from various cultures and time periods creates a sense of timelessness, while the beats and production keep the music firmly rooted in the present.

Tracks like "Did You Ever" and "Satanic Horseback Riding" showcase the duo's skill in creating intricate and dynamic rhythms that keep the listener engaged from start to finish. The use of live instrumentation, such as the saxophone on "Makam Fatonah," adds another layer of depth and texture to the music.

About Den Sorte Skole

Den Sorte Skole (The Black School) is a Danish Copenhagen-based DJ, producer and composer collective, founded by Simon Dokkedal, Martin Fernando Jakobsen (who left the band in 2011) & Martin Højland in 2003. By sampling music from all across the world and genres as diverse as folk, psych rock, electronic music, reggae, classical and all kinds of field recordings, Sorte Skole take the listener on an unique journey through the history of music.
